Deerfield.com applied for the EDJT grant to expand its technical training after experiencing record breaking corporate growth over the past two years. The purpose of the EDJT grant is to assist Michigan employers with the job training necessary to compete in the global economy. EDJT funds training in technical skills, process improvement skills, and applied academic skills in support of technical skill training.

Deerfield.com will utilize the grant funds in conjunction with North Central Michigan College, a Petoskey, Michigan education institution that provides customized employee training and development for business, industry and individuals.
