Kerio WinRoute Firewall is a corporate gateway firewall for small and medium-sized businesses. • Stateful Firewall
  Unlike most packet filters, WinRoute Firewall performs stateful packet inspection. This means that it keeps track of previous communication and, based on this knowledge, can better determine whether traffic is legitimate.

  This stateful packet inspection is accompanied by NAT, which translates multiple private addresses used in the local network to one public address. Hiding all computers behind one public IP address reduces the risk that outsiders will uncover your LANs topography.

• User Management
  WinRoute Firewall provides user-based management of Internet access. Different users or groups of users can have different access rights. These rights can be further fine-tuned by applying time intervals, limiting users to specific activities (e.g. using FTP clients) during a specified time period.
